NOTE: downloading binary files can vary between browsers (and even browser versions). Several things to try are:

  2. Netscape (or Mozilla):



The Narrowband 150KHz ADCP has the highest resolution of these sonars (8 meters) and can reach up to 300m. The 38KHz ADCP is configured to alternate between 12m resolution (broadband) pings and 24m resolution (narrowband) pings, unless it is in bottom track mode. In that case, we use broadband mode only to accompany the BT pings). The broadband mode data (12m resolution) may reach to 900m in good weather; the narroband mode data (24m resolution) can reach to 1200m in good weather.

The acquisition software is robust; the near-real time processing software is under development. If it is working, the database for each firtual instrument (NB150, OS38bb, OS38nb) will be updated approximately every hour and matlab files will be copied to the following locations:
