4.2.15. Electrical noise (deep biases)

This is really bad. This may indicates an acoustic or electrical source of bad “signal”, ie. the ADCP erroneously identifies it as good; but it is not. Suggestions: run the instrument self-test, get in touch with RDI Field Service. It is difficult to troubleshoot this kind of problem.

Another way to look at “bad data” is by noting where a failure in the ADCP components can occur.
